Swiss Car of the Year
When film and show speak the same language
Across multiple editions of the Swiss Car of the Year awards, Live Lab has supported the event with film production, show content and dramaturgical direction. From test drives and voting campaigns to the award ceremony itself, content was created to make the competition tangible across channels. Bringing content production and show direction together ensured a consistent experience from the first public vote to the final award presentation.
From the test track to the stage
The central content for the competition was created during the official test day. Vehicle portraits, nominee films, voting campaigns and opening videos formed the foundation of the communication surrounding both the expert and public awards. Using specialised camera systems, drones and dynamic driving footage, the vehicles were not only evaluated but brought to life through compelling storytelling.
Content as part of the dramaturgy
The produced films were not treated as standalone assets but became an integral part of the show's dramaturgy. Live Lab contributed to the development of the show direction, ensuring that content, moderation and award presentations worked together as one coherent experience. Across multiple editions, this created a format that combined competition, entertainment and brand communication.
Flexible under any circumstances
Whether as a traditional award ceremony or a last-minute transition to a fully digital format, the close integration of production, post-production and show direction enabled rapid adaptation to changing conditions. This ensured that Swiss Car of the Year remained a high-quality experience for audiences, jury members and partners alike.
