Alpiq Expedition Two
A narrative universe bridging the digital and real worlds
Live Lab translated Alpiq’s brand refresh and new brand promise, “A different kind of energy,” into a hybrid employee experience. Over the course of three months, Alpiqverse guided 1,200 employees through stories, games, and challenges. The final event in Prague allowed 800 participants to experience this shared energy firsthand.
From brand promise to brand world
The brand refresh was not explained, but made tangible as a shared brand world. In the Alpiqverse, employees encountered Alpiq’s values and themes through avatars, tasks, mini-games and recurring characters. This created a digital journey that built attention, enabled decentralised participation and connected the brand promise to a shared goal in a playful way.




Finale across the city
In Prague, the digital story expanded into the city and onto the stage. A hybrid scavenger hunt, award show and musical commitment act brought the expedition to a shared climax. The brand promise became not only visible, but physically tangible as a collective moment.
Impact beyond the event
Alpiq Expedition Two showed how strong narration and interactive mechanics can support internal brand development. Employees became active co-creators of a story that started digitally, culminated live and remained available as a brand world – for future expeditions, activations and onboardings.
