Maharashtra Lounge at the Annual Meeting in Davos
A business hub at the intersection of culture and diplomacy
Live Lab developed and implemented the Maharashtra Lounge for the government of the Indian state of Maharashtra during the 2023 Davos Annual Meeting. Spanning two floors, the space brought together economic development, cultural identity, and international relations, creating a setting for discussions, negotiations, and new partnerships.

The lounge’s public area offered insights into the state’s history, projects, and future prospects. A traditional Indian opening ceremony with incense built a bridge between Davos and Maharashtra, giving the event a cultural foundation.
Meetings, discussions, and contract signings took place in the lower section of the lounge. The combination of information, hospitality, and functional meeting spaces created a setting where economic interests, political discussions, and international networking converged.
