Seagen's 25th Anniversary
A club night celebrating innovation and appreciation
Live Lab designed and produced Seagen’s 25th-anniversary celebration at the KKL Luzern. Around 600 European employees celebrated a night that combined scientific innovation, appreciation, and entertainment. A lab bar, a club room, stage performances, a live concert, and an event video transformed the biotechnology company’s cancer research into a festive experience.
The Panorama Foyer became a central gathering place thanks to a large bar featuring a wood-slat design. Laboratory vessels, colored water, scientific drawings on the floor, and silver spheres suspended above the bar evoked Seagen’s world of research, blending it with dining, lounge areas, and live cooking stations to create an inviting club-like atmosphere.
For Ellie Goulding’s concert and the after-party featuring DJ Sanja, the Luzerner Saal was transformed into a club-style venue complete with bleachers, lounges, and bars. A speech by the Senior Vice President and a moving video presentation on stage highlighted Seagen’s key advances in cancer research throughout the evening, without disrupting the festive atmosphere.
The color scheme, styling, lighting, outdoor lounge, and photo spot featuring a disco ball-inspired glitter wall brought the various zones together into a cohesive whole. Guests moved seamlessly between the foyer, the main hall, and the terrace, experiencing an anniversary celebration that highlighted gratitude, research, and community. Live Lab was responsible for event design, execution, and the event video.
