How do you get an organization moving? How does a transformation strategy become a shared reality? And what role do live experiences play in bringing about real change?

In this episode, Jonathan Schwarz speaks with Christine Wawra, a partner at Doujak Corporate Development, systemic consultant, coach, and family therapist, about why, from a systemic perspective, organizations cannot simply be managed but can only be set in motion.

Together, they discuss why transformation must be experienced, not merely implemented; why organizations are not machines but living systems; and why storytelling, architecture, and live communication achieve far more than mere communication: they create the conditions that allow change to happen in the first place.

High-impact events become more than just gatherings. They become moments in which people collectively experience a new reality and that is precisely why change becomes possible.

Christine Wawra

Christine Wawra is a partner at Doujak Corporate Development in Vienna, as well as a systemic consultant, coach, and systemic family therapist. For nearlytwenty years, she has been supporting companies, leadership teams, and individuals through change processes. Her particular focus is on designing high- impact events where organizations not only communicate transformation but also make it an immediate, tangible experience. International experience in Europe, Asia, and Latin America shapes her systemic perspective on leadership, change, and collaboration.

Together with her colleague Mirjam Seher, Christine has also recently begun supporting the Live Lab leadership team through a transformation process. This makes this conversation all the more fascinating, as it combines the perspective of an external systemic consultant with the experiences of a company that is itself in the midst of change.
